Terms & Conditions
Last updated: July 2026Welcome to Robyn & Gold. Throughout this site, the terms "we", "us", "our" and "I" refer to Robyn & Gold, a business based in Ireland. By visiting our website and purchasing from us, you engage with our service and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or purchase from us.
Our Pieces
All items offered for sale at Robyn & Gold are pre-loved, vintage or antique in nature and are sold as pictured and described. As with any item of age, slight imperfections commensurate with wear and history may be present. These do not constitute faults unless they have been omitted from or misrepresented in the product description.
Please note: Robyn & Gold specialises in vintage and antique jewellery. As each piece has lived a previous life, signs of age and wear form part of its character. While every piece is carefully inspected before sale, antique jewellery cannot be guaranteed against future wear, accidental damage or issues that arise during use.
Every piece is personally sourced, assessed and photographed. We make every effort to represent condition, size and character accurately, including close-up imagery where relevant. Product photography may occasionally include props or styling elements that are not part of the piece being sold.
We reserve the right to limit the sale of our products to any person, region or jurisdiction at our discretion. We may discontinue any product at any time. We reserve the right to refuse any order.
Orders & Pricing
All prices are displayed in Euro (EUR) and are inclusive of applicable Irish VAT where required. An order is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders at any time, including after confirmation, if we suspect fraud, an error in pricing, or a violation of these terms.
If your order is cancelled after payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within seven business days.
Customers outside the EU may be subject to customs duties, import taxes or fees levied by their local authorities. These charges are the buyer's sole responsibility. Robyn & Gold has no control over these costs and cannot predict their amount.
Shipping & Delivery
We ship worldwide from Ireland. All orders are posted within three business days of payment being received unless otherwise stated. Every order is sent in fully insured, fully tracked packaging.
Once your order has been posted, we will email you the tracking information so you can follow its progress. Actual delivery times can vary depending on the destination and the postal service, and may be affected by carrier delays, customs processing or other factors outside our control. Robyn & Gold is not liable for delays once an order has been posted and tracking has been provided.
Returns & Your Right of Withdrawal
Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU), consumers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from an online purchase within 14 days of receiving their order, without giving a reason. To exercise this right, you must notify us by email within 14 days of receipt at info@robynandgold.com. You must then return the item within a further 14 days of your notification.
Exception: The right of withdrawal does not apply to items that have been resized, altered or customised in any way after purchase. These constitute goods made to the consumer's specifications and are final sale under Article 16(c) of the Directive.
All returns, including those made under the statutory withdrawal right, are subject to the following conditions:
- Items should be returned in the condition received, in the original Robyn & Gold packaging
- Return postage is the sole responsibility of the sender
- Items must be sent via a fully tracked and insured postal service
No restocking fee applies to returns made under the statutory withdrawal right. If a returned item shows handling beyond what is needed to inspect it, we may deduct an amount reflecting its diminished value, as permitted by the Directive. A 5% restocking fee applies only to non-statutory returns we accept as a goodwill gesture.
For statutory withdrawals, refunds — including the standard outbound delivery charge where the whole order is returned — will be issued to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned item (or proof of postage, whichever is earlier). Material Defects
If you receive an item with a material defect that was not disclosed at the time of sale, please notify us by email as soon as possible after receipt, including photographic evidence, at info@robynandgold.com.
Under the Sale of Goods and Supply of Services Act 1980, the Consumer Rights Act 2022 and applicable EU consumer protection law, you are entitled to a remedy where goods are not as described or are not of satisfactory quality, and nothing in these terms limits those statutory rights. Reasonable, tracked return postage for confirmed material defects will be refunded.
Sizing
Vintage rings cannot always be resized without risk to the integrity of the piece. We provide sizing information in every listing and encourage you to contact us before purchasing if you are unsure. Sizing does not constitute a material defect. Once a ring has been resized or customised it becomes final sale and the right of withdrawal no longer applies.
Payment
Payments are processed securely via Stripe. We accept all major credit and debit cards. Robyn & Gold does not store your card details at any time. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe in accordance with PCI DSS standards.
Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, photographs, branding, and design, is the property of Robyn & Gold and may not be reproduced, distributed or used without our express written permission. Our product images are taken by us and reflect the genuine appearance of each piece.
Privacy & Data
Any personal information you provide in connection with a purchase is used solely to process and fulfil your order. We do not sell, share or distribute your data to third parties, except as required to process your payment (Stripe) or deliver your order (postal carriers). We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Irish Data Protection Act 2018.

Our website may contain links to third-party sites (including Instagram and Stripe). These links are provided for convenience only. Robyn & Gold has no responsibility for the content, privacy practices or policies of any external site. Visiting a linked site is at your own risk.
Errors & Inaccuracies
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, pricing and availability are accurate. However, errors may occasionally occur. We reserve the right to correct any such errors and to cancel orders placed based on inaccurate information, with a full refund issued where payment has been taken.
Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Irish and EU law, Robyn & Gold shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or the purchase of our products. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any disputes arising from your use of this website or a purchase made through it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts, without prejudice to your rights as an EU consumer under applicable European legislation.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available on this page. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
